I’m an award-winning writer, editor, and communications consultant with more than 25 years of experience in a variety of fields, including insurance, real estate, the arts, energy, telecommunications, health and fitness, and the green movement.
I've traveled around the world writing stories about life on offshore oil rigs, covered Mardi Gras aboard a parade float, and reported on American military cemeteries in Europe. I've delivered seminars on Best Practices in Marketing Communications at national conferences. I've interviewed Prince Charles, Muhammad Ali and astronaut Shannon Lucid (while she was aboard the Mir space station). And I've drunk tea with the Bedouins in the desert of Saudi Arabia.
What do those experiences mean to you?
I speak your language.
Because I have experience in so many different industries, and I’ve found myself in so many different situations, I have the confidence to work comfortably with all kinds of people, from senior executives in the corner office to hard hats on the factory floor.
I don’t mind solving problems.
What happens when you’re interviewing a Bedouin family in the desert and the patriarch roars over the hill with a rifle in his hand? I’ve been there. Switching to Plan B when the printer blows a deadline or the CEO is incommunicado doesn’t bother me.
I have friends in the right places.
I’ve built a network of consultants ranging from artists, designers, and photographers to experts in market analysis and online training who help me augment my services to your business.
